As the Restaurant General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring a seamless and high-quality guest experience. You will lead and mentor a diverse team, drive operational excellence, and contribute to the overall success and profitability of the restaurant. Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic direction and leadership for all restaurant operations.
  • Recruit, train, and manage restaurant staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and service standards to ensure efficiency and consistency.
  • Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue management, to achieve profitability goals.
  • Oversee inventory management, including ordering, stocking, and maintaining optimal levels of food, beverages, and supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and industry partners.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure menu quality and consistency, while also introducing new and innovative dishes.
  • Handle guest complaints and feedback with professionalism and a focus on guest satisfaction.
  • Represent the restaurant at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in restaurant management, preferably in a high-volume or upscale environment.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
  • Strong financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, cost control, and revenue management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on guest satisfaction.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in restaurant management software, POS systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
